Top Tabletop Board Games on Android in South Africa: Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the top tabletop board games on the Android platform in South Africa showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Ludo King® from Gametion saw a fluctuating performance in terms of revenue, starting July with a modest $15 and peaking at $156 by the end of September. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from around 23K to 32K, while active users increased from approximately 185K in July to over 216K by the quarter's end.

Ludo by Yarsa Games maintained consistent download numbers, starting at 14.7K in early July and concluding with 11.1K in late September. Active users showed a slight downward trend, with numbers dropping from nearly 80K to around 75K over the quarter.

Chess by Chess Prince experienced a decline in weekly downloads, from 13.9K in early July to just 5.4K by the end of September. Correspondingly, active users decreased from 127K to about 103K during the same period.

Tic Tac Toe - 2 Player XO from CDT Puzzle Studio showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 17.8K in early September before declining to 4.6K by the end of the month. Active users peaked at 161K mid-September, ending the quarter at 142K.

Finally, Ludo Offline by AlignIt Games experienced a steady rise in active users throughout the quarter, from 21K in early July to 65K by the end of September. Weekly downloads, however, showed a declining trend, starting at 15.8K and ending at 5.4K.
